
Dr.
Cynthia Rembert James Ph.D., D. Min., has been described as having a "transparent devoutness, coupled with a glaring
scholarship". Dr. James seeks to model the absolute importance of Godly consecrated study and preparation.
She incarnates the admonition of II Timothy 2:15 and is gift to the Body of Christ fervently and rightly dividing the
Word of Truth and bringing a sound yet fervent approach to ministry. Cynthia James a Christian
Psychologist has earned two doctorate degrees one in Psychology from Rutgers University and a second from United Theological
Seminary. Currently she serves as the first assistant to the General Director of the Church of God Association of Anderson,
Indiana providing oversight to the Leadership Development and Congregational Health team, which is responsible for approximately
2,300 congregations, nationally, their pastoral staffs, and the international youth convention. In addition, she continues
for the 14th year to assume the top leadership role for 60 congregations and their ministerial staffs in the Northern California,
Northern Nevada, and Hawaii District. In addition, for the past 4 years Dr. James has provided Human Resources expertise
to a non-profit Christian mission, which is actively involved in church planting in 82 churches. Cynthia
James has held numerous professorships and served as the "Earl Lecturer" for the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley,
California. She is a published author and received a presidential award for community volunteerism. Despite having
been privileged to serve as a speaker and trainer on numerous continents she takes immeasurable delight in her family: Dr.
Alvin James, husband of 41 plus years, adult children Everett (spouse Nancy), David, and teenage daughter Bre.
